So it's been awhile since I have posted anything. Believe me, I've started some but then something or someone calls my attention away from the computer and the posts just don't seem to publish themselves. For habitual procrastinators, it seems one of the best remedies is to start a new habit. I read in the book The Happiness Project that if you have a blog, you should make a habit to post every day. My life isn't quite interesting enough to post daily, however, once a week might be doable.
I found this funny picture on Pinterest. The website it comes from is Talking Trash. She has a hilarious post about procrastinating. At least I know I'm not the only one with this affliction! Isn't there a saying: Procrastinators Unite! Tomorrow...
I have been working on some projects in the craft room and the car and at piano lessons. There are two scarves I'm making for the Special Olympics scarf project which will be donated somewhere once I get the second one finished. I'm trying to make another Twist and Shout bag for carrying take along projects. I have issues with focusing on the same project day in and day out so I like having options ready to go. And, I'm participating in another fun swap with Laurie Jackson. The deadline is next week so there will be a finished project to photograph very soon!
Easter is just a few days away and my kids will be out of school on Friday. So if the Easter Bunny doesn't want to be up until midnight Saturday, I'll have to get the plastic eggs filled and the baskets ready to go. It's getting more bittersweet each year that my kids get older. I now have only one who still believes in the Easter Bunny, but the bigger kids still like watching his excitement.
Have a Blessed Holy Week! I'm off to get my needlebook swap project finished!
